Rob
@nickm, were they from this manufacturer?
nickm
not sure... just giving a heads up. there are plenty of Alibaba sellers distributing from the same manufacturer

I'm not too fussed about thickness. I'll never be making enough power for it to be of concern and I'm more interested in being able to fit it without modification. I only need one oil cooler (engine on the right) but if everyone else needs two I don't care if I need to pay a little bit extra for this.
Ex850R
The do88 one is 40mm core.
The core thickness on an NA is thinner than the turbo radiator. I wonder if they sell to NA or turbo customers normally?
End tanks are the same or not much thicker so fitment and spacing won't be an issue.
CamZH
I'd be interested in 40mm with a cooler on the RHS.
timbo
+1 for a 40 mm with cooler on RHS
Rob
OK. first quote (pre-negotiation) received.
Including delivery. (in AUD)
$272 each for 40mm with no cooler
$284 each for 40mm with 1 cooler
$296 each for 40mm with 2 coolers
For interest sake ... would cost approx $25 less in 32mm, $30 extra to go to 48mm and $60 extra to go to 56mm.
There is no negative cost implication in having a mixed order, it will not save us anything by purchasing a bunch exactly the same.
As Clinton stated, the radiator is the cheap part. This first quote puts freight at $182pp for air freight with estimated delivery in 8 days.
I am now talking with him to try and negotiate a better price and better freight option. Hopefully I will have a resolution by tomorrow.

My idea with this was to have better cooling so a thicker core is preferrable for me , maybe even 56.0mm .
The older the motor gets it needs all the help it can get too...
I understand that the fans do their job but i would like less strain on the system with better cooling straight up rather than running fans which for me seems to be too quickly and often these days ( them starting )
I also dont mind waiting a few weeks for a boat to get here either if that makes post $30 or whatever .
Rob
Hearing you. I don't have a price yet for slow freight. He is definitely working on it though and tells me he will have it tomorrow.. :)

Onya Rob!

Nice one!

I have lots of china shipping contacts
$180 is excessive for air shipping
Pallet via sea freight should be sub 500 for upwards of 50 units
Sea freight is generally under 2 weeks as well
We jsut need to pick up at botney directly then do some bruce delivery service

Id be in to buy 10 units (dual coolers)
And could bankroll everything and take the full risk if it makes things simpler
Does the guy do intercooler as well?
Rob
I will wait for his reply today and then will be in touch with you.

I need some input from people please
The final price will be around $110 per radiator + options(coolers/thickness) + freight.
freight is from $60pp for sea freight (30 days) to $150pp for express air freight (5 days) with an in between option also available.
As a general guide you will get a 40mm radiator with 2 coolers delivered in a couple of weeks for $240.
please let me know if you are in or out and what freight you would prefer so we can make a final decision.
Cheers
CamZH
For right now I am out.
Mines working fine and don't have the spare funds anyhow :(
jamesinc
I would prefer el cheapo sea freight.
