seggle02 Here is my 'other' classic. Restored 1979 VB Holden Commodore. Trophy winner. 3.3L six with the Trimatic auto. In it's day, a Volvo 244 rival..... [/img]
Vee_Que Not bad, but they never were a 244 rival in the cost sense, or for safety either, I guess a V8 one is about the same speed. Doesn't stop me liking them though! Looks neat even if it's original looking, which isn't my thing.
A_Volvo_Driver My old man had a V8 VB years ago when I was a kid. A pretty good car, by memory. Yours looks very tidy Richard, well done.
beema41 I was working as a first year apprentice in 79, hertz ren a car, I remember these brand new coming on fleet! Exciting stuff! ( in those days) gee they were pushed by GMH! Maybe a bit too fast down the assembly line, some had major and minor issues. All good fun.
nickm I remember the family bought a new VC in the same colour as this. It was a nice car in the day, way ahead of how the Kingswoods drove. The Ford answer XD had a better motor in the alloy 4.1 but the commodore better dynamics.
