Thanks Cam! Id love to mate but trying to start a family so I need a more economical car. Also the mrs needs to get her licence and I don't think the 850 is the car for her to do learners on!

Have you replaced the siezed throttle cable and sorted the oil leaks?
Any info on whats wrong with the car at all?

Hey Julian, good hearing back from you. I sent you a text the other day. (assuming you're the Julian I spoke to a couple of weeks ago)..
Throttle cable - No, I haven't replaced the throttle cable - it was actually just loosed. I tightened it up and she was good to go.
Oil Leak - No. Just don't have the time to sort it out. Happy for you to sort it out with your mechanic like we discussed last time.

Oil leak wouldbe the cam end seal , very easy fix for even a home mechanic. Seal on output shaft notso easy/cheap but once done its a stayer. Not many other leak points except the flame trap being blocked.
Nice car for my missus actually!! Too far outta my budget unfortunately....

Just read the thread on the link you sent.
Like I told you, its not that I was trying to hide anything from you its more on that I don't know much about cars.
Re the oil leak, I will check the notes from the mechanic when I get home tonight and will let you know.
Re service history - I've got a folder of all the history of the car.
Re the chip - I was told by the previous owner that the chip was done by VP tuning.
She's due for her next service next week, I'll ask as to what needs to be done to get a RWC.

Voldat into too far away and have loan cars , get an expert on the job!
Berry Motor Group , Micham , but same , experts and have cars to loan too.

Sorry for the late reply.
I normally take it for a service at a mechanic in Werribee.
The guy I bought it from bought it off him.
So its basically his car, so he knows the car better. His wife has a Volvo too so he knows his Volvo's.
Re the price on my 850R - I'd be willing to drop it down to $4500 if anyone is interested.
