Hi there I'm in need of the usa style headlights with the big buckets/refletors, as I want to put round headlights in there.It's probably gonna be hard to find but worth the shot.

You can use the stock European ones that come here for the same job. Or pre 81 rounds?

Nope, they mount into the exact same brackets. still a plastic reflector. The U.S used the 81 on headlights from 86 on. Just different lens. You should start a project thread on your car!
Oh so if I find a 81 and on it'll have the correct bucket and reflector?

I've already ordered my headlights to go in I just need the bucket.

Some nice Cibie 7" lamps are a good option , the STD ones being hard to get and 7 1/8 " or something...
