Does anyone have one of these for sale?

These were pre Volvos being officially imported so my guess would be that your best bet is to import one, probably from the US.

Thanks, but I like to feel smell hear a car before I buy it. I know there are PVs in oz. It's just that there aren't many

All the ones in Oz have been privately imported in relatively recent years, I'd guess that most are still owned by the people who imported them, so unless one of them decides to sell, your best bet is probably to import one from the US.
You could fly over and inspect some, and when you buy one, get it road freighted to one of the companies that specialises in importing American cars to Oz. Bring me back a 780 Turbo while you're at it!

There are only 4 here, and 2 duetts and one PV52, you can import any car as long as its built before January 1988, but all cars have to be standard no crazy V8s etc, import costs are around $5000 with all clearance certs done.

There was a wood panelled Duett for sale in WA for around 10k and a Targa prepped racing one for around 60k. Those are the only two I have seen in the open market for the last few years.
With judicious work through turbobricks and a flight to the US to be sure you should be able to get something solid.

The Kaub ones are a bit dinged and rusted up :(
Angus242164
Rather off-topic, but do the Kaub's still have the 145 Express that was a Trevor Stanley parts delivery vehicle in their yard? If they do it's probably rusted beyond saving now.
240Joe
They do, and 80% of the cars in that yard are rusted beyond saving, there are a lot of rare ones there! :(

That's a bit of a shame, the other day I was thinking about how it probably got used to go between the Geelong and Ballarat dealers, the old dealership building in Ballarat is in the process of being converted into a fruit and veg place at the moment.
