great info... And fitment to the 850 auto T5 is cool? are we going to break these with stock power :) ?

Must be why I thought to douse the weights with Penetrene! Not that I expect to take them off but I like going ape with Penetrene , that smell takes me back to my younger days at Alcoa..

Just makes it hard to change the boots on the car though. Only about 30 mins extra time in total if I remember what it took me. Much easier to do the boots and other work off the car also.

Cheers , i am going to pull the axles with hub as i dont have a 36mm socket , give lot to Mark and have reco axles put on , much easier!

what year is your 850 r james? my 96 r has the rifling on the axle

Mine is 1996 also. Perhaps my old axles were aftermarket.
