P80 c70 coupe sun roof glass or stabiliser bar

update - Berry's have found a bar for me ?

As part of cleaning up the interior of my c70 I removed the sunroof glass, and noticed the front stabiliser bar was missing (cause of lots of rattling/not seating properly when fully closed). Apparently pretty common to be missing...

So, I am looking for either- the front bar to fix back on to my glass or the entire glass panel that has both front and rear bars intact .!

@Geoff_Bunnett - have you tried a Volvo dealer ?

I gather sunroof glass for the C70 is unobtanium, but sometimes these smaller items can be sourced through Volvo from Sweden.

The bars aren't separate to the glass as a part no. Glass NLA, including from GCP, according to local Volvo dealer.

Perhaps check with Mark Iceton at Berry Motor Group in Melbourne - he has a huge amount of Volvo knowledge and can perhaps assist with C70 stuff.

Berry have been on the hunt for a little while now, no luck so far...! (on this)...have sourced so many other parts for the car though ?

I rolled a small towel up and wedged it between the leading edge of the glass and where the sunshade closes into. It helped a little.

I’m a bit scared to use the sunroof for fear of breaking it so don’t use it at all. The car is otherwise fabulous. The sunshade does gets occasional work !
