Hi Louie,
That generation of Volvos was when Ford had the most influence over the model designs. As far as I am aware, the B4204T7 is actually the Ford Ecoboost engine (which was originally a Mazda MZR design). Particular year models had issues with head gaskets, and in the Volvo it was only available with the "Powershift" double clutch transmission. On paper, this combination was fantastic - the economy and performanmce of a manual transmission with the ease of an automatic. In practise, the dry plate DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) was a disaster, and there are worldwide class action lawsuits over its suitability for mass market vehicles.
The V60 is a beautiful looking vehicle, but in this case is a Ford Focus in drag, and this model is particularly cheap on the used market for this very reason.
You may find a good one which lasts for years, but the odds are against it.
Sorry to be a wet blanket, but you need to go into Volvo ownership with your eyes wide open. Just my personal opinion of course.
