1998 Volvo V40 T4 DSA Module - Melbourne. (ECU Potentially too)

Hi All,

Chasing a DSA Module for a V40 T4 manual wagon.

Car is refusing to start, seems very likely to be DSA, or potentially ECU issue, other sensors or wiring related.

Just trying to eliminate potential causes. If anyone has a Module I could borrow to try, or for sale would be great.

Eliminated mechanical causes, certainly seems to be electrical, ecu wiring, immobiliser etc. Common on these cars, has previously had ECU replaced.

Also potentially looking for an ECU and all required parts to go with. If anyone has any leads.

All need to be T4 specific including DSA.

Any V40 enthusiasts and specialists input greatly appreciated.

Can you check for fault codes? For a 1998 model you can use VOL-FCR software on a PC and a cheap cable off eBay. Might be worth checking before throwing parts at it.

Also, if you don't get an answer here, it might be worth joining the Facebook group for Volvo S40/V40 Classic as there are lots of knowledgeable people there.
