Hi guys,
I'm hoping this is a "Yep, bloody ~2008-2013 models will do that" kind of answer, but in my search I couldn't find anything.
I've got an XC70 with aircon that KINDA worked for the first hour or so, but it was barely an improvement over a 25° day. I figured it was out of gas, took it to an auto electrician who also does aircon, and he regassed it and rang me, said it was as cold as ice. Rang me back half an hour later and said when he was moving it out of the garage, the aircon didn't seem to be working at all. He tried a bunch of stuff, but no good. He looked at the relay and the fuses and there was no problem there, so he reckons there's a problem in the actual "brain" of the car - like it's not getting the signal that it's aircon should be on.
He advised me to take it someone good with Volvos, and gave me the same name that another forum member has told me about but that guy said "Not really my thing." (he's a mechanic afterall).
Oh and I'm in Wollongong, NSW, not far from Sydney if anyone knows any wizz-bang auto lekkies or aircon guys.
Wondering if anyone knows what I should try? (I found a video, will link below, I will try that but it does look like it's for older models)
The details:
2010 XC70, D5
Aircon button "appears" to work, the light comes on, the temperature is turned to "low" (we've moved it up and down to try to flip the switch), fan is turned on... basically just blows out hot air. In summer it's significantly better to wind down the windows.

Thanks for your help, cheers,
