Hi everyone

I saw an old add, about a compressor you would have in the trunk, special shocks and a manometer in the dash. With up And down buttons.

does anyone have a kit can buy?

or is it possible to buy a new form of kit. If yes what kind to buy?

im curious if it’s handling would get worse.?

is it all four wheels you have it installed in.

or just the back wheek,?

Air shocks were semi common back in the day, although most of them avoided the cost of the compressor and just had a schrader valve somewhere near the number plate.

They were used to restore ride height with a heavy load.

I’d say that about a half of the Kingswood/Falcon/Valiant wagons had air shocks fitted to them… My dad’s HJ definitely did.

Don’t recall seeing anything on a 240, but there’s no reason why it wouldn’t work.

Dad had air shocks on his 142. Today's tech is much better.

I had them on a 240gle estate in the UK, definitely an aftermarket thing but was really useful
