IIRC they have the hazard light switch just above the indicator stalk?
Is the switch failing to lock itself into hazard lights off?
Also IIRC, the hazard light switch is an integral part of the indicator stalk.
I may have a spare which has sat at the back of the shed for 4+ years, unless you have the cruise control type stalk.
Meanwhile, you might find that the little bezel over the switch has broken, or started to disintegrate and left debris to gum up the switch's locking mechanism. Whip off the column shroud and then the stalk (T25 Torx, or Philips heads if you're lucky) and inspect; it may be possible to clean out the switch.
