Hi all, this is my first on this forum. I recently purchased 2014 S60 T6 polestar in Rebel Blue. Need a good volvo specialist to do the services in the melbourne area perfered in inner northern suburbs. I am also looking at remap. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance.

Worth travelling to Voldat in Moorabbin. They have loan cars. @Giles ? has opened up in in Ocean Grove, a factory volvo tech who was at Sth Yarra Volvo as manager before. Has a loan car.

There's the usual Heico and RICA etc.

I first tried a TDI TUNING BOX to great effect.

Have the Heico e- motion unit to go on Polestar as well. I'm not going to use it. For sale....

Look for a downpipe etc , talk to Mike @VolvoMike at VolvofAdelaide. Has hot Polestar and S60R. (Some drive over from Melbourne just to go to him)

Swedish Prestige in Airport West a n also up there really experienced mechanic is SEAL MOTORS, Paul is old skool.

A mate at one of the aforementioned workshops goes to Paul .

I am going to him as much as possible.

If you want volvo trained techs, Giles down on Bellarine Peninsula or Mark at Voldat are it.

It is worth travelling to a good workshop.

I've been to BMG and Voldat over the last 20 odd years and I live in the west.

Hi, took the s60pol to the black spurs on the weekend. Went very well. Very impressed. Just noted a little knocking on the left hand sfront end when going slow turning right. I have the "Polestar" Ohlins dampers. A friend said it may be the dampers needing a rehaul or replacement. Does anyone know of anyone who rehauls these as I know they do in the USA. I also work with heaving vehicles and cranes and we have done this many times. But if anyone I would appreciate it. Cheers.

@AshDVS might know, he's a big fan of Ohlins. It could just be bushings!

Indeed Ash is the suspension guru.

Could be any of the numerous link rods,bushes,strut top mount etc.

Be sure to get gearbox flushed and Haldex serviced.

If you don't require track day performance out of the brakes there are other options for brakes much cheaper to maintain than the ridiculous Brembo premium ($2-3000 for pads and rotors) the STD brakes are very good , I've driven P* against my V60T6, not much difference daily driving and I'm probably at P* power or more with my tune.

Thanks Snoopy. I will see how I go and get someone to look at it when I get back in a month. So no rush. I will get the trans flushed on its next service. Yes brakes are expensive but the previous owner spent $4500 replacing all 4 rotors and pads 12 months ago at Volvo. So no need to replace for sometime as I don't drive it much. Just want to make sure front end is AOK. It felt like it was fine and on rails and no play so might just be a bush but will get it checked to be sure. I am from Tassie and drive my Brera Q4 V6 and we have many roads like the black spurs but not as good unfortunately so I survey them with my 4x4 and then run on the good ones early in the morning as they are all within 30 to 45 minutes drive from home. Some of the good ones however are on the north west of Tasmania and east coast. We have some of the Targa stages which are good but need to be very cautious of wild life and tourist with there vans. Cheers

Wow, Volvo certainly put a premium on the price of the brakes.......

Do not go to them for anything, BMG have a tame dealer parts supply or import themselves.

Mark Iceton is your man, it was his V60 Polestar I was using as a loan car!
