"Hi Greg. A few months back I purchased a 1981 GL, barn find. it was my intention to get it running and on the road. Mark Hoffman was very helpful in assisting me to source the parts I needed to get it running. The car is in reasonable condition for its age. The body is excellent, very straight. The car has only done 184000 kms. It is a 4 speed manual. The seats are in excellent condition, the dash has 2 very small cracks and the plastics are deteriorating due to being in the sun for so long. The paint is faded but would cut and polish nicely. The engine runs and sounds strong but the fuel injection needs a going over, new seals etc. it had a very small amount of rust between the rear bumper and boot which I have repaired. Unfortunately I don't have time to finish it as I have a couple of other projects that I am working on. I was wondering if there may be a club member who would be interested in buying the car either for parts ( it's really too good for parts) or to get on the road. I will attach a couple of photos fyi. I am just wanting my money back and would be happy to let it go for $2900. Thanks for your help with this."
