Hi, at some point over the weekend I blew a fuse. Fuse #17 on the box under the glove box, for "overhead courtesy lighting, control panel driver's door".
I had the roof lining replaced last week but all seemed fine following that. Used the car on Friday and all was still seemingly good. Didn't drive the car from then until Tuesday which is when I noticed the issue - the windows and mirrors wouldn't respond to the switches on the drivers door and roof lights wouldn't come on. We had a fairly severe downpour with heavy winds Monday and I thought maybe water ingress caused the issue.
Checked the fuse this morning and it was blown. Removed the door panel expecting to find moisture but it was dry. I disconnected all wires aside from door handle and, fingers crossed, popped in another fuse - it blew instantly.
Left door wires disconnected and removed roof lights - under glove box, front centre (seatbelt warning still illuminates - different circuit??), centre, cargo area - fuse blew again!
1) Is there anything else running through this fuse that I've missed?
I haven't found any other blown fuses or issues as yet, just seems to be this one.
Had the roof lining reupholstered last week but no issues within 5 days, only since the rain hit - still possibly the cause though. Pulling down the lining will be a last resort.
2) Any common electrical faults on this circuit?
Thanks
