Phil142S Hi Guys, I removed the lower shocker mount, not knowing I will have major issues applying it back into place. Any suggestions to assist with placing back on without causing harm or do I require to purchase new mounts. Thanks
Major Ledfoot ramrod I think he means 47 (lower shock mount)Yes. However, if 43A has been swapped around with 47, there may be issues.
Phil142S Correct 47 is giving me the issue, not sure what the coating use on the darker side of the above pic is, but it wont fit back through the lower control arm hole. Any best suggestions how to remove the coating.
Phil142S 1972 - It come out quite easy surprisingly enough, I removed the nut and with a few taps it come out ?
242GT You'll have the later model training arms and a couple of other differences.Great cars the 140 & 160 series.
Roinik Basically you need to use a wire buff and clean up the rust/bitumen on the bolt. Failing that, chip it off. The 71 had a spacer that acted like a crush tube (#45) and protected the bolt a bit.
