I don't think it really it is LHD!!!! Flipped photo I'd say!
asiandriver
Nope the car in the photo is definitely LHD, those headlights are North American markets exclusive.
More likely the seller can't be arsed taking a photo of the actual car, so they just posted one they found on the net.
SPT940
Yep, they are too. Shame, it looks like it's in nice condition.

Watermark even has the US website and dealers phone number.
asiandriver
Maybe we should all call & ask him how he managed to import a LHD from US & got it registered in Oz!!!

Never buy a car off someone who is so stupid that that cannot manage ANY of the following:
1. Take a photo and upload it to gumtee;
2. Take a photo and SMS it to someone who can upload it to Gumtree;
3. Apologise in the ad for using a photo of not the real car.

BEEN THERE WITH THE AIRLINE TICKET, MELBOURNE TO BRIZE, 960 MY ARSE JUST AN 850 X(
Rob
Is this the one you flew up for?
and it is just an 850?
Ex850R
I believe so....

That's fantastic. Amazing how many 9xxs get advertised as 850s and visaversa. Like the badge on the bootlid isn't a freaking huge clue....

Wow, I didnt even know this was a thing! How could people mix them up, as stated, just look at the badge!?!
iceton1975
Yep that's the one, some good pubs in brizzy :)>-

Guys the photo might be wrong but this really is a 960 Estate! Definitely not the 850 that @iceton1975 flew up to see a while back,
I looked up the part number for instrument cluster he mentioned in the ad, 3544290, and that's definitely a 960 instrument cluster.
I then looked up the rego 153TLO and got the VIN number YV1965956P0010348, which not only confirms that it's a 960 Estate, it also proves that it's really a 1993 year model (with 75L fuel tank) not a 1992 model.

Where would you get a replacement cluster? Order from Japan?
egads (she/her)
Could be fixable depending on the fault or get one from a wreck, possibly from the UK.
PaddlerEd
A UK one would be fine; they come marked in KM's as standard, but will read in miles on the odometer and trip.
asiandriver
@iceton1975 had a 94 model 960 at his workplace that they're wrecking last time I was there. Assuming they've still got it, the cluster out of it would work on the 93.
