Rock Auto can probably sell you calipers for less than you’ll pay for a reco kit locally.
All 240s had solid/not vented rear rotors.
The fronts were either solid or vented, depending on spec/age. The simple version is that the higher spec cars got vented earlier, but they all ended up with vented front rotors by the end.
By 1982, only the 24xDL had solid front rotors. The upgrade to vented is worthwhile, but you will need the matching calipers - make sure to buy the better, more common Girling calipers rather than the rarer, somewhat inferior ATE calipers.
