The car started bouncing heavily, and then the SLOW DOWN OR GEAR UP message started appearing with the Engine Light flashing or constant at times. The engine itself was running rough.
I went to a local mechanic to check it out, as I wasn't sure I would make it to Berry. I hoped replacing the spark plugs would fix it, but ended up becoming even more rough.
The mechanic said 6 of the 8 were faulty
