Just got the deal done today, Dark Blue 960 Wagon 2.5, It's no show car, could do with a full respray, saved from the crusher, will post pics when I get it delivered at home.
Now 27 cars at home?
No Auto but manual conversion easy, plenty of parts in the HOMELAND!
What's the history on this one? There used to be a blue facelifted 960 2.5 wagon that for years lived in a street near my old workplace in Footscray. It had scrapes on the all the corners of the bumpers and looked a bit unloved, but overall condition wasn't too bad. I figured being a 2.5 it was either a UK, Jap or Hong Kong market grey import.
Is It The one that was for sale in WA on gumtree not that long ago?
It a local car so it may be the one Angus is thinking it is.
Needs some work to make it new again,
You can manual convo a 960?!?!?
Any plans for headers or exhaust?
Got the B6254 as a manual in the UK; the problem is that there weren't that many and most of them have had the gearbox robbed as it bolts onto a T5 engine....
No Pics still waiting on delivery, and yes you can bolt in a T5 motor, gear boxes can be bought from Norway, its the super strong M90 gearbox
They are strong compared to a m46 but only to 200kw at the wheels they last too.
What does a Supra box handle?
350 plus, depending which box you use, the cast iron boxes not as strong as the larger alloy boxes
So are you keeping it then?
Morning dude yep
don't have any of those motors you asked about :(
All gone!? What , scrapped? May convince him on an S/V40/donk instead....
We better build an underground store / workshop at yours! Move house , dig hole for room cover put house back?
Morning! Don't know what's going on here , maybe reverting back yo old days when I got up 5-530 for work!!

W58 can handle good power but not much torque. But the good supra box is the r154 which does handle a lot of torque. The 6 cylinder 2.5 is good for boost too.
