Hey members,
Thought id start a little thread on my other project, the Frankenfalcon. Been in the works for about 5 or 6 years and its finally on the road and has seen its first track day at Willowbank rally track.
The car is a 1989 Ford Falcon EA S pack. Bought it with a EL engine conversion and manual conversion, lowered, heavily tinted, maybe 8 years ago with plans to drift it and do some sprints. After a while of doing this i decided it needed some more power and have done the following mods;
Fresh long motor from the wreckers with 130,000ks
Borg warner sx366 turbo, stage 6 snort performance manifold with 50mm wastegate plumed to a 3 inch dump pipe and custom 3 inch exhaust with highflow cat. Log intake manifold. Front mount intercooler.
Wolf v550 ecu. Tuned mildly on 8psi with 260hp to ease me into boost life.
Reco'd EB head with heavy duty valve springs. New timing chain.
Walbro 255 fuel pump, 60lb injectors.
Slotted rotors, braided brake lines, ebc red stuff brake pads.
Heavy duty clutch. Camber kit. Battery in the boot. Suede racing steering wheel.
Xr6 headlight conversion with 1 highbeam removed for airflow to the pod filter.
Some rust and paint repair. New bonnet and bonnet heat shield. Turbo beanie, dump pipe wrap, firewall heat shield, exhaust tunnel heat sheild.
Next on the list of upgrades and repairs;
Wade 977b cam, not currently installed due to broken keyway.
Exhaust manifold heat shield. Air box.
Windscreen wipers and reverse lights dont work due to electrical fault that im yet to locate. Paint the rocker cover.
More rust and paint repair
Possible mods;
Racing seat
Half cage
More aggreasive tune and more boost with the wade cam.
