Hi all.. Just seeing if anyone's bought these lenses and put them on there existing headlights, seems like a affordable option especially for $150 a pair to fix the issues we face with the Aussie harsh UV rays causing bad yellowing and spider webbing . Appreciate any feedback

How does it fix the oxidation ? The original plastic still has exposure to air and sunlight, unless I'm missing something. I use Meguiar's Restoration kit which is still good 3 years on - you need one of the kits with a spray coating after the clean and polish, like the headlights originally had.

Love to see any product that fixes spider webbing and crazing, didn't you see the pics? ?

The crazing and spider webbing is usually mostly in the original coating...and sands off when getting rid of the yellow colour. Mine were worse than yours when I started - there's some crazing which goes right through still, but from 3 feet away they look almost new.

I actually ordered a set of those covers from AliExpress for my XC60 which has headlights that look just as bad as yours. The seller sent me the year model after mine instead then basically told me it wasn't his/her problem so I opened a dispute and quickly found out the dispute process on AliExpress is actually just there for show, they don't actually look at your evidence. Anyway eventually I got my money back through Paypal minus the cost of shipping the incorrect covers back to China by boat which funnily enough showed up back at my place about 8 weeks later RTS.

So after that debacle I just decided to go with a Cerakote ceramic headlight restoration kit from Amazon. The sanding process was a bit of work but the results were excellent and I actually only used half the kit as it was ample enough to do both headlights.

I restored the headlights back at the end of May and they still look new now, time will tell how long the treatment lasts.

Thanks Joel. Awewome feedback, I bit the bullet and ordered a set, only $145 including postage, I've only had positive experiences with AliExpress, get my oil filters from them, my centre hubcap logos and other nic nacks plus you can't get this wrong with xc90 lense covers as it's the same lenses from 2004 to 2014 and states it in add, the pic I've displayed is my headlights after I sanded and clear coated them, the crazings too deep, but all the cloudy yellowing was cleared up, think I made it worse with too coarse sand paper like 600 grit, most desputes I've opened get fully refunded as it's govern by the AliExpress site (not the sellers), gotten free stuff too as shipping rocked up 2.5 months instead of 20-30 days, so they refunded me after 45 days opening a despute, just a bit nervous now on how to put these on ??

Fair enough, good luck with them.

I made many successful purchases through them before getting stung and to be clear I ordered the correct year model lenses, I was just sent the wrong ones.

The evidence I provided in the dispute included screenshots of the original add, photos and videos showing what I was sent was incorrect, I even included my rego papers to prove what year model my car was. They didn't even look at the evidence and just sided instantly with the seller. Paypal looked at my evidence and instantly sided with me.
