AshDVS Probably because you getting this one pre-dates OzVolvo, much like how none of my 240s make much of an appearance here either; by the time OzVolvo standard your 240 was already 'part of the furniture' in your life.
Didnt you have Simmons V5 or B45 on it at some point, pre the Sunraysia wheels and all terrains as pictured? ;)
I agree, that's most likely why. Realising how long I've had the car makes me feel very old.
I do have a set of Simmons V5s, one of them has always had a slight leak but it's far worse now. I wanted to get Barrel Bros to make them into 16x8s so I could run 225/50R16s but Covid and a few other life events got in the way, and now they no longer take on customer wheels. I could always just have the wheel resealed, but tyre availability isn't what it used to be. I was running 215/60R15 and there's almost nothing available in that size now. There's really nothing appealing in 205/60R15 or 225/60R15 either, and I don't see those sizes as being ideal for the car/wheels.
So for now, the steel wheels allow me to get the car out and enjoy it while I figure that out.
