In the market for an S40 T4 1.9 Manual. V40 would work too.
Doesn't have to be immaculate, just looking for no big mechanical issues. Figured I'd put a feeler out here in case anyone comes along looking to sell.

There's a V40 on Gumtree in Victoria, 300,000km, $2100. Been for sale for a while so I assume it's not great, but for the price it might be a reasonable starting point...

2002 Volvo s40

Volvo s40 T4 high performance turbo 300nm has been set up for hill climb and track car, new clutch, wrx brakes and suspension. I have not had this car long I have replaced the headlights with dark t4 ones painted the grill and replaced the speakers with high end focal ones, but due to moving it’s up for sale. The car has some hail dents and only a weeks rego but has great tyres, cold Aircon and hot heater, factory BBS wheels and is a very quick little car and comes with a couple of boxes of spares.
PS. That can't be a 2002 model, must be 2000 or earlier.
Interesting, that looks like the S40 T4 that was for sale on here a month or two ago, albeit with a little more work done perhaps.
And listed for $1200 more of course haha
If you ever find one, I have a full coolant system overhaul for sale and a full brake upgrade kit too... some leftovers from my abandoned S40 T4 project
