nealvaughan Ok I have I had a complete backflip over my 142 - in the process of having it for sale and actually knocking back a good offer I realise I really really like this car - just want it to go a bit better what have you got to improve things - thinking twin carbs and manifold, better shocks front end stuff.
egads (she/her) Still looking at auto conversion? I have a b18 twin su carb setup or a b20 twin Stromberg. I have some OK koni reds shock wise, not amazing though.
nealvaughan I have the 2.0 engine which is the better carb set up for it - do the manifolds go straight on?
nealvaughan and no auto I was given some birkenstocks and they have made the clutch much easier to operate!
egads (she/her) Honestly it depends on what carbs you or your mechanic are familiar with. Both are in manifolds and will just bolt up. SU's have a fair bit of knowledge and expertise kicking around from British cars but the Strombergs are better tech.
