Hi There!!
As i mentioned before i am a german living in Oz and i might use the wrong term so this is what i mean.
I am about to replace the cabin filter and i saw these plastic "grills" inside the car which allows you to regulate the airflow or which direction the air goes.....you can move them to the left or right or up and down...i use to clean them with cotton tips because they are difficult to reach...........is there any way to take them out and clean them in the dishwasher.???.........mine are full of red dust....

Compressed air is probably the most effective followed by industrial vacuum/vacuum at car cleaners.
