What trouble are you having with your LH 2.4 system?
How many kays on the car? 240? Or 700/940? Year model? Does it have a pink label ECU?
YMMV, but I'd prefer 2.4 for a reliable daily over any other system. Especially carbs.
As Ramrod said, it won't be legit with carbs. Also bear in mind that by stepping backwards to carbs, you'll also have to revise your ignition system as well, since LH2.4 relies on the ECU, plus the EZ-116K for ignition and timing.
That DGV Weber is also used for carb conversions on B20s. It's junk.
DCOEs are very expensive, even knock-off ones. They work okay, but there's a lot of stuffing around to get the jetting and balancing correct. (Been there, done that before, with a B20). They're okay for a track car. For a daily driver, the PITA value outweighs any power increase.
I'm in LST also, so feel free to drop me a PM if you want an extra pair of eyes on it.
Edited to add: At present, I'm getting parts together to assemble a B230 LH2.4 engine for a 242GT and converting it from K-Jet; see Project GoaT. So I have some bits onhand (unused at present) which can be used to swap and check on yours, to find the faulty item(s).
