Hi, I'm new here. Just bought myself my first Volvo a month or so back, a 240 wagon that was traded in at a dealership near my house. It's done some miles but you wouldn't know as it's in very good condition, must have had some caring owners I guess. I'm in need of a few bits and pieces to make it complete and to tidy it up. Is there a reasonably priced wrecker in Brisbane that dismantles Volvo's? Is there anyone on here dismantling a late 240 at present? Thanks in advance!
List so far of what I need-
Glove box lid (or plastic trim on inside of glovebox lid- mine has been glued up a few times and won't secure the lock any more).
Drivers door lower hinge (spring is broken and won't hold door open)
Front grille (mine is cracked)
LH tail light
Plastic trims behind back seat below rear side window (mine are cracked) These will have to come off a wagon obviously.
Maybe a bonnet if it's the right price and close by, mines repairable but if I can get a perfect one then I wont bother fixing the one I have.
Drivers seat in blue (I know it's a long shot!)

Plenty of peeps here with spare parts and knowledge to help you along the way , a wrecker is on here as well who can post even large parts cheaply Pom ( @iceton1975 ) .
Seat can be rebolstered with foam from USA cheap enough or maybe use a lhs good one to make a drivers one? Change to 850/V70 leather seats with a custom base made by @Vee_Que- Alex on here? Much better seats and cheap at wreckers.Suspension , brake and many parts available from @AshDVS here too , our resident handling guru.

Ahoy Marty, glad you made it over here. @Rob would probably be able to help with a point at a wreckers.
Do you have a picture of how the driver door check thingo has failed? A few different ways it breaks so different fixes.

I have two grilles that might be of use.
I have a standard one that looks ok (which I found this morning in amongst some spares I'd stashed away) and a mesh one we made with a black surround.

I have gloveboxes in good condition with black lids or half black/half tan, it sounds like you need a half black/half blue one, it's not too hard to swap the faces over though.
I have door hinges in a few colours, can't help with the rest of the list though unfortunately.

Just to be clear @Ex850R I can adapt to 740 and 940 seata easily. 240s are a different thing.
