Ash , the base trim is a greyish hue , I may do piano black finish if I don't like the aluminium.
Have the V/S 70 parting out peeps here got a 'black' console , the whole thing , otherwise I need to re-colour the beige on mine. The trim above the handbrake is cracked from the lever coming right up , no adjustment done to handbrake...
Washed the body today to see the extent of scratches and damage.
Interior may be helped with steam cleaning or hot upholstry wash and apart from the cracked leather the seats are in good condition.
The R has 150k on the clock but looks like its been through the bush. Scratches over bonnet and roof. In pictures below you can see the rhs has been scraped on a wall or fence post , doors will swap with other car , buff out the paint scrape for now. Tailgate may be a swap over too , must evaluate more...
Lhs not so bad but rear door could swap although have a ding in replacement too...
Rhs plastic grille beside fog light is missing.
She has headlight wipers , one with missing blade ( Rob , I gave mine away too soon! ;) . )
Windscreen looks OK.
Wheels not bad but for a ding or two , one at least has a locknut! Great! How do you get locknuts off??
Tyres are Chinese , not having that.
Haven't looked under car yet but some red dust under there for sure!
Brake pads are good but discs have surface rust.
Washed the engine bay of red dust to make work a nicer place in there.
Carpet may be candidate for a recolour as its had R mats on and looks mostly good so far.
It has dicky seats which will be for sale if anyone needs em? Wheels may be up for sale too in future.
Small scrape on lhs of front bar but in good nick .
Rhs guard will swap with old Wagon.
Scraped behind petrol door , but not door , odd.
Rear bar has to stay unless I cut out a new exhaust hole on rhs of old car one , although it has scratches from loads coming out ( the old girl is a delivery pig a lot..)
Some scratches , I don't think any of it is unscathed! My lightly buff out and kept good with regular Turtle Wax.
Filthy.
Hit once with the Gerni , now soaking in Bissel carpet cleaning machine fluid.....
Candidates for dark re-colour.
Will get to work on gutting interior and preparing engine bay for removal of motor.
