Defensive Driving Course

Has anyone done a defensive course? If so, where and what did you think of it?

I've done one in the carpark at Sandown. Worth It For remembering skills and helping understand things better. It was a lot of stuff my Dad taught me when I learnt to drive but means I can do a skid pan course now!

Eastern creek in Nsw does some really good courses and they even use Volvo's

Definitely worth doing, depending on who is running them of course.
The Queensland Raceway courses you linked to look quite good.

I did the L1 and L2 defensive courses through these guys -

As well as a couple of Motorsports specific driving courses and training. They dont seem to list them now, I'm not actually sure if they were through Murcotts or if we just booked through them or not.

I did mine through Drive Safe Australia. It was very good, I highly recommend them. The instructor on the day was Garth Bransgrove, some of you might know him from the Volvo Car Club of NSW. I think he has a 142.

Yep, I did 3 through Murcotts, both DD and a motorsports orientated course. Very good idea and it's scary how it highlights how woeful our driving education is.

Thanks Ben, by the way I'd love to see some photos of the supercharger setup in your 240. I'm looking at supercharging my 740 16V.

Ben's supercharger has issues that are yet to be resolved, the turbo is his next step :D

lol, issues such as too friggin' loud and not enough power! No worries O&D, PM me your email and I can send some pics through and answer any questions. Unless you're really sold on SC, I'd recommend going turbo.
