Iam pretty sure I paid $150 for my squiggly bar and postage interstate.

Not sure if this helps but here is the part number I took a photo of it before I got the brace powder coated.

The last two I had, I sold for $100-$150. $400-$600 is definitely in my view of 'silly money'. They're ok but there's certainly more effective/functional braces out there (even beyond what we offer).
@shadycourgette , you asked a question about the Ultra Racing swaybar offering earlier and I missed it and didnt provide a response.
In short, their rear bar is pretty good and would be my preference (now) over the IPD offering. Back in maybe 2014/2015, we'd been looking at reselling them. We got an eval P80 rear bar and fitted it to my 1998 V70T5. Finish was 'ok' but not brilliant and it required minor modification to fit. Unless you have a hoist and were ok with taking a grinder to a brand new bar to make it fit, you might have been unhappy.
From a reseller viewpoint, while the bar we got may have been an exception, this made me lose interest in taking them on to resell.
Fast forward some time, all of the Ultra Racing swaybars I've seen since then (with no exceptions) had nicer welding than the one we got and I havent heard of anyone who the issues we had. Maybe we got a 'friday' bar.
I may reach out to them again and buy one in to eval it again to see if the experience is better this time around, being 7-8 years later.

You should look into this. Ultra Racing Australia don’t list any Volvo products on their website, so I emailed them about a rear sway bar and they said they could supply me one. Not a lot of options for stuff in Australia and OS shipping is outrageous at the moment.

Bit of an update - headlining is almost there, the trim around the sunroof disintegrated when removing it so had to come up with an alternative. Got some PVC pinch weld rubber and the trimmer said they can wrap it in Alcantara. Should hopefully hold up OK. The centre light surround was very brittle and broke during the painting process. Received a replacement one from @AshDVS ready to paint. The plastics came out very dark (almost black) but doesn’t look too bad I guess.

I've had them do three of them for me now. They can do anything you like, add thumb grips or whatever.

For the most recent one, I used a 2000 V70R 'chunky' style wheel with the factory thumb grips as the starting point and they made it a bit thicker and did the whole thing in 9002 Alcantara, silver stitching with yellow leather centering strip.

Previous ones (Focus XR5 and non-2000 style V70 steering wheel) where 9002 alcantara, teal stitching and charcoal leather centering strip. They've done a great job on all of them.

Noticed a bit of white smoke coming from the exhaust so decided to stop using the car and do some work on the engine, I’ve accumulated a fair amount of parts now so going to take the time and learn to do it myself.
I pulled the turbo out last weekend, turns out the exhaust housing is cracked. My plan was to rebuild it for now as an upgrade is a bit out of my budget right now. An 18t would be ideal as it doesn’t require that many supporting mods but they are impossible to find second hand. Might just shelf it for now and get stuck into replacing the hydraulic lifters and head gasket.

The front calipers are Alfa Romeo, 336mm from Retro Turbo I believe.

Yell if you need a Snabb fresh air pipe/kit. We have them in stock (wrinkle black pipe with black silicone joiners).

Maybe worth upgrading to a Japanifold as well or later R manifold when changing the turbo .

I'm sure you have v70r front brake calipers , where did the brackets come from ??

Yeah I’ll be getting a Japanifold from a mate, as well as a Snabb fresh air pipe.

Yep Japanifold and an 18t , nice set up . That's what I'm running atm but pulling it all apart next week or so .

Where’d you find the 18t? They aren’t very common. Why are you pulling it apart?

Mine is smoking pretty badly , valve stem seals maybe but I've got head gasket and above kit . So will get everything done .

How many k’s? And are you doing it yourself? I might do my stem seals too while I’m in doing the hydraulic lifters.

198k yes will do myself , never done this sort of thing before but as I keep on getting told it only nuts n bolts ?

I want a more ‘modern’ size turbo that still has decent daily drivability and the 18t doesn’t require that much in terms of supporting mods. A 19t seems overkill to me as I’m not chasing power, I also can’t really afford all of the supporting mods at the moment (I’m impatient) required for a 19t, but that’s not to say that I won’t do it in future.

How I approached it (and I did the same with the Focus XR5 one) was to buy a steering wheel via UK ebay and have the seller send it directly to Royal Steering wheels who then did their thing and sent it back to me when complete.

It wasn't a cheap exercise as the 2000 V70R steering wheels are worth some money now but I'm viewing it this time around that Im going to keep the car for myself, rather than it being a platform to work stuff out on for DVS.

I myself run a 18T but its a modified 16T with new wheel to be 18T. There is no point running a bigger turbo unless it's tuned. 19T is easily tuned for the street.
