I'm after some measurements for tailgate badge placement for 1997 (not 1998, badges are located lower on the tailgate) P80 V70R.

I'm after the following measurements -

(A) Bottom of the 'Volvo' badge to the lower edge of the tailgate.

(B) Bottom of the 'V70' (under the '0') to the lower edge of the tailgate.

(C) Top corner of the 'V' in 'Volvo' to the left edge of the tailgate.

(D) Top corner of the 'V' in 'V70' to the RHS of the number plate opening.

(E) Top corner of the 'R' to the right edge of the tailgate.

    Scale it off that photo, you have car for measurement .

      Measured to the best of my ability - D is hardest to judge. This is from a mid year (July built) 1998 v70r.

      A - 141mm

      B - 137mm

      C - 36mm

      D - 91-95mm (91 is edge of where is rolls and 95 is the mid of the rolled edge)

      E - 50mm

      Here's how the later MY98 had the badges laid out (take from my previous V70T5. Ignore the T5-R badge) -

      And here's the current MY97 V70. I'd leave badges off but theres a couple of marks where they've been that likely wouldnt be as obvious on a car that isnt black -
