Ignition aside, the B23E to B230E identifier is the harmonic balancer. The camshaft went from K 11.95mm lift, to A at 10.5mm.
General reader info - The next 240 engine turning point was moving to the B230F due to tighter emission standards in Australia for 1986. The start of the Chrysler ignition system for a couple of years. Cam went to low lift M at 9.5mm on inlet and 10.5 on exhaust and instead of inlet opening BTDC, it opened 6 deg ATDC, a slug by comparison to earlier years.
