Fuel pressure 42psi so in spec, no fault codes in either ignition or fuel (1-1-1).
Issue is ignition side so ordering new coil and dist cap rotor and most importantly the leads. Replaced power stage as I had one available. Will replace fly position sensor as precaution but as no faults showing on obd as it checks that aspect, likely not the issue and replaced 7y ago.
I'm not a fan of the 940 clip on connectors on coil, dist, and plugs. Why evidence of poor contact. Coil lead bad, and 2 of 4 leads corroded and not to ohm meter resistance spec.
Explains why (at this point in time) the timing light was not working. I did adapt in a 240 plug lead and nothing either, so not the lead issue, but at coil or before.
So time to order parts and hope she runs again. Vehicle stopped out of the blue and was running ok. In fact the 940 has been the most reliable red motor model I’ve owned.
