Hi all from NZ!

Just trying to find the part number/s for radios with and without Nav for my Aus/NZ. I knw we run on what Volvo call ROW but just wondering if anyone has some clues (or even a snap) as to what is in out cars?

Thank you

Oliver

The peeps that know here will need year and what level stereo you are running.

Hi!

OK, I have a '17 V60CC and a '14 XC70. All ex Japan. They are both high spec units. Both have Nav and the V60 has interweb. If I can replace with just radios and not worry about the nav that might have to do. SHould be possible but....having nav would be nice since Volvo kindly update it!!

Hope this helps

Oliver

You cannot replace the radio units as they are part on the CanBUS system and are coded to the car , if you could it would be costly for the part new and then Volvo needs to be convinced to encode it to your car/s for you but at a big cost.

Changing your system to non Japanese may be possible , did you ask a dealer?

Still , others on here may shed a bit more light.

Hi,

Must be able to otherwise there would zero market for used parts.

All I need is the part numbers used in an AU/NZ spec car.

Thanks!

Oliver

Nope.

Radio and of all things the rear view mirror are on the CanBus network with code for each car.

You put in another one and you need to recode it.

You M A Y be able to do it with VXvDiag or VIDA and Dice if you buy them.

Even seats are an issue to swap on some.

VDash might be able to do what you need

Have a read of the following links, you will need to download VDash, buy a dice and crack the CEM pin.

VDash is a thing to have by the looks. Sorts out many things.
