Hi there,
I been lurking around here and read almost all of the mods on Motronic 4.4, I'm planning on keeping the stock ECU but I do want to be able to tune it, lucky for me my 1997 LPT 850 AWD stick shift came with a 4.4 ECU. So I thought it might be time to introduce myself, Eric is my name and born and raised in Sweden (lived in Denton,TX 1997-2004). Used to have a 98 V70R AWD when I returned home in 2005, did some minor mods on it (https://awdturbo.net/1998-v70r-awd/). Had a bunch of different cars after the V70 but now I'm back in the Volvo scene and wanted to build something that I can play with, I'm not building this to cruise the streets it's pure for burning rubbers and drifting 4-wheel style ;-)
So I'm in the process of building a Volvo that never ever was considered as something in the Volvo line, not even a concept was planned. So what do you get if you merge a Volvo 850 LPT AWD with a Dutch Volvo 460, you get a sleeper awd hybrid car hehehe.
Well it's a long time project. Because I don't have very deep pockets, so I'm trying to get my YT channel to catch on so I can get some cash to finish this project as soon as possible. It's going to be a bad a$$ car, about 400+hp, gutted interior, welded visco, LSD in front and aiming for 1100 kg but I don't think I'll get it that light. More likely around 12-1300 kg but it will still move.
Don't know what a Volvo 460 looks like? No problem I'll attach a picture:
I cut of the front subframes and the rear subframes from the 850 and getting them attached to the 460 body, this car is going to be able to pass inspection and be street legal so it have to be done the right way. Car inspection in Sweden are very strict and they check everything, I mean everything.
At the moment I'm in the process of lining up the rear axle and angle gear so I can cut the prop-shaft to right length. If you find this a interesting project please feel free to follow me on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsTuMN51-dwaI3PR42oL1Rw

I'm sorry to say that my YT videos are in Swedish due to that the few subscribers I have are domestic, but If I get more Subs world wide I'll change the language to English in my videos. Thanks for taking the time to read my first post, cheers from Sweden :-)
