Nice to find one that hasn’t been pocked and prodded!

I think the price requires a reality check tho

    It's a dealer by looks.

Someone with lots of cash will come by and offer a deal no doubt.

Back in the early 2000s when I spent ages looking for a manual wagon I paid what it took to get it and it wasn't my preference of colour but low/ish mileage. (68K klms?) The guy that owned it had a fleet of all the cars he ever listed after and made his money in the IT explosion back then, trade em all on a couple of Range Rovers...

If it's a good example then money saved finding non existent new or used parts like interior is a win.

Think maybe they hit the zero button to much ?

$28K, for an auto?...wtfis with Aussie prices?

    Price dropped to 28k

Omfg spend the small amount of $$ to swap the coolant bottle...

    and a dead headliner. tripping.

I guess the big part about this is that 5-6 years ago, this would have been a $6K car, but here we are in 2022 with lots of us pining over our 'hero' cars from a little while back. Throw COVID into the mix and someone is cheeky enough to suggest it's worth more than $20K. One of us might see value in that and buy it.

For anyone interested, I can forward across some invoices/proof of spend by the previous owner for some of the maintenance items and some other things.

90% of ads seem to be people just fishing for an idiot buyer.

My last couple of vehicle purchases, I’ve paid 20% and 27% of the original asking prices… And both of the sellers started with a variation of “I know what I’ve got”…

The 850R: High teens, maybe nudging $20k for the right buyer but low~mid teens if you actually want to move it sometime soon (IMHO, obviously).

Insurance companies are willing to do agreed values at decent amounts now though which is a good thing, mine is with Shannon's for 30k, seems reasonable ?

The sedan didn't sell, it's now less than half price, I rest me case ?
