I noticed today that my fuel accumulator has a valve on top of it without any sort of cap or hose. When I start the car fuel flows very fast out of it, the car idles and runs fine however (although I’m not driving it right now!) I was wondering if anyone knows what should be there as I assume something fell or broke off last time it was driven?
looking at diagrams they suggest it may be a line that goes from the accumulator to the tank? (However 1978?) However I can’t see where it would connect to the tank.
The car is a 1977 245 that has a swapped 1982 B23E by a previous owner
My hoses are leaking a little at the bottom and found this issue while investigating those.
Thanks for any help in advance
