need dog gate mounting hardware for 145/245

anyone have any ideas? have the gate. just no way to mount it in the car (1974 145). all help appreciated. warren

Fold some sheet metal angles and screw/bolt into metal body of car in rear sides. Or buy from hardware shop.

Awesome rare car. Love to see a picture.

In the coming week I can probably take a few pictures of the original mounting brackets. Very hard to find an original set I would think as the gates themselves seem uncommon.

Send a pic of the gate you have maybe? Being a 74, if it’s the same as the 240 style, I might have at least the upper brackets that would work. I have a complete early 145 dog gate with all mounting hardware but saving it for my 68 145...

OK for the most part that looks identical to the early 240 dog guards. The main thing you’d need to check is are the nuts up in the roof. I suspect they will be. Leave it with me and let me see if I have spare upper mounting parts. You’ll also need some small brackets to be bolted to the back of the rear seat at the top to engage those rotating hooks on the bottom of the dog guard. Not sure if I have those but you should be able to easily fabricate something for that our of some small steel or aluminium angle.
