While the dash was out I replaced the lamps with LEDs
Previous to this I had installed a dropping resistor for the boost gauge back light.
It was dimmer, but the voltage was too low for the blue back light LED and I was left with only red.
Reading a red needle on a red black ground is less than ideal.
So I built a PWM (pulse width modulator) to dim the LED back light.
Now the boost gauge is no longer blinding and the dash is readable (picture doesnt really show it)
