hey guys, so I just swapped my 16T out for a 19T and I'm having a wee issue (a fun issue though)
I set everything up and just ran wastegate pressure while I'm testing but it's way high, it's currently at 17.6psi then comes down to 15psi.
I'm using the same wastegate actuator from my 16T and it's wastegate pressure was 11psi.
both 16T and 19T are angled flanged with 11 blade billet wheels so not alot has changed other then wheel size, the 19t exhaust inlet is substantially larger though so should flow alot more
thinking maybe I need to adjust the wastegate actuator?
what's the best way to do this? how much preload should I have etc etc
any other reasons you can think of why boost is so high now.
I know the 19T is larger but surely it wouldn't add that much extra boost just in wastegate pressure.
ideally I would like the base boost pressure to be set as low as possible and my electric boost controller can be used to adjust It higher.
side note, 17psi thru the 19T is a whole lotta fun hahaha
