Barrie Has anyone any information if there are any of these left? I have not seen another one in Auz.? I have seen a couple in Europe.
ramrod Yeah there are some left, 142, 144, 145Most cars that old though didn't make it, unless owners were very careful and kept them going which lets be honest majority of people don't have enough patience to keep an old classic running and registered
Barrie I am interested in the 142E as I know they were all Volvo built. I had a couple of 144s Built in Clayton?? not the same car in any way, in my opinion? I remember trading my XW GT Falcon in on the 142E it was just a really well balanced car and was way easier to balance than the GT, But the GT would be worth way more now.
Spac There’s a few around. Peter Lambie had a very nice blue one, Mark Pincott had a solid-but-needing -resto gold one. I saw Peter’s in Nowra a few years back, in the new owner’s hands. No idea what happened to Mark’s.
egads (she/her) Are you thinking the later 74 kjet injection ones or the earlier djet injection ones?Like this one that popped up in the US a few years back? https://ozvolvo.org/discussion/6742/1974-142-running-issues
