Sorry there was some sarcasm to my previous comment about the driving pleasure. We've owned a 10 valve for 5 years now and while very torquey at the lower rev ranges the 20 valve variant is a far better car to drive. Design is very similar between 10 and 20 valvers. They share the block and head gasket.

I have heard others say the 10V better around town because of the better torque low down.
I have just the motor n auto sitting awaiting a new body...
