USA is the best source at present, but allowing for freight and rebuild when it arrives, it's not a low cost exercise.

I imported a main shaft and rear housing recently, with a view to matching it up with a local j-type overdrive and adapting an m40. It looks doable, but you have to be prepared to completely strip down and reassemble the box.

Maybe not what you want to do, but I’m using a Toyota W58 and a Dellow bell housing. 5 speed and you can get them with the shifter well positioned in the hole. No more worries.
