Ok with brake upgrade looking for 17”min wheels, what have people used or found? I’m not interested in using spacers... thanks guys.. any help or pics would be great?

Spoke to guy last week, wasn’t really helpful...

A few members have bought 17" formula mesh from Chris neale, his website isn't great but he's really helpful if you ring him.

I recently bought some custom drilled wheels from BSA in Sydney.

Wheels are Chinese, but the work, service and price were all excellent.

Gumtree is my favourite. I've found some great ones there but it takes patience and you need to know what you're looking for.

They’re one of the types of wheels on the Neale’s website.

Yes I know I rang guy yesterday, sounded nice and he was very helpful...

I've purchased 15x10 -26 Superlite wheels to run on the front of my old wagon; very well priced and the wheels were of good quality. They came quite quickly, drilled to 5x108 and volvo centrebore

@Klaptrap24 did you have to get a special socket for the wheel nuts? I have a similar tight fit when I mount mine.

Ticktock

Did you have to do much work to the guards to get a 15x10 to work.

Yes. All the work.

uhhh yes it wasn’t pretty ... pliers to pull out the inner lip of the fenders then I used interior rubbers and glued them on along the rough edge

17x8 +0 (same front and rear) from Chris Neale also

225/45R17 tyres

some neg camber and guard rolling on front to fit with no rubbing

rear guards had to be cut away quite a lot to fit without rubbing

Chris is telling me that 17x8 0offset will fit with no wheel arch mods..maybe I just go 7” but yours looks good

Think it might be ok at stock height ... is yours lowered at all?

Lowered about 40mm- so not as low as yours looks

17x9 took a lot of messing around to get the scrubbing to a bearable level on the back of my old GT.

With 235mm wide tyres, they'd scrub on both the inner guard and on the (heavily folded) outer lip.
