Nah should be fine. I did get the front skin painted! Wanted to clean it up before fitting the AC for the final time. Turned out alright.

Hey @Slowbrick it might be worth getting whoever you use for AC to flush the compressor out and re-oil it before you install it. My AC guy was saying compressors that had been exposed to air on the shelf for a long time can be problematic.

Thats a good point. I dont have a guy ive used yet but there is a place not far from me that does AC. I had the ports taped up with duct tape while it was in storage but I can ask them about flushing it out.

Nah man wasnt too bad. Just used the two nut method and it was pretty easy. The stubborn ones i used some vice-grips with some heat and they popped right out. Got them all fitted back in pretty easily and the manifold is all mounted back up!

Where did you source the studs? Are you planning to run the phenolic spacers sandwiched between two paper gaskets?

The studs come with them when you buy them. Nah didn't use a gasket. Used Threebond which is what they use to seal motorbike cases together. It's super thin and doesn't dry out. Never used it as a gasket sealer but it should be fine...I hope!

Threebond is the business. Keep my little 70s Honda oil tight and sealed... amazingly

I was told its the real shit so grabbed a tube from the Yamaha dealer down the road. Its so sticky and makes spiderwebs everywhere!
