Most of my wiring stuff turned up to do the wiring tuck. Had a shitty cold last week so was banned from the garage. Last night I got stuck into it!
Started off by drilling the hole in the fender to pass through the harness. Popped on a grommet and it all looks factory. Then separated each collection of wires and routed them where I wanted them.
I will keep the headlight relay in the stock place as here in Newcastle salt is a bit of a problem so it would be counter productive to put it somewhere where it will get hit by sand and grit. I thought about moving it inside the cabin but its already kinda crowded there with the extra LH stuff so left it where it is.
Then I fitted the two out of three deutsch connectors I got. Put the one on that will connect the indicators and parkers to the loom and the main engine body harness. I pulled back the coil 12v wire and mounted it to the firewall. The main loom deutsch connector I got supports 8 pins so 4 are used for the cluster and two are used for the coil 12v and tach. Its all mocked up at this point and tonight I will put a gasket on all the panel mounted connectors and fix them properly.
Tonight I hope to get around to welding on mounting studs for the loom so I can secure them with some stainless cable tidies from the local marine shop here. I also hope to get the new fuse block in that replaces the crappy supercheap auto one I had fitted.
The deutsch connectors are super easy to make and are a breeze with the tool I got.
This is the power distro I plan on picking up this afternoon:

I will run an extra length of wire from it to the mid section of the car. This will be used to install the second fuel pump when I replace the broken Walbro with a twin pump setup.
Anyways...pics!
