The 360 has died on me. It ran fine all day, then it was left for about 3 hours and after that it was shite. Cranked and very reluctantly idled on and off, couldn't rev past about 2000rpm. Would idle at about 300prm when it decided to idle at all.
Later tonight (cold engine) I had a poke around disconnecting sensors etc and didn't get much further with it. When it was still warm connecting and disconnecting the AFM had an effect (it ran smoother for a couple seconds when I plugged the AFM in), and disconnecting the ECT sensor didn't improve anything.

Well, I mean it runs occasionally, so I assume there's some spark. I replaced the cap and rotor and it had no effect. Do you want me to sight the actual spark? I forget what colour its supposed to be.

Coil is what I am thinking.

Hm interesting. The 360 uses some weird coil though, I'm not sure if I can replace it very easily. Reckon the coil from the V70 will work?

Just looked at the pic. My old one had a normal Bosch coil fitted. Makes me suspect it more though, I will see if I can dig up some info.

I can put on the coil from a 240 I think I have one lying around.

I am getting unsure but had a coil that gave similar symptoms but I only really found by trial and error.

The later 360's did come with a B200 and 2.4
As long as you just note it as being a 89+ model, not sure what issues you could get into class wise

Yeah 2.4 conversion will be my first port of call if I can't get it sorted out.
