Hey guys looking for a bit of help?

There is a knocking in the front passenger side when the car is turning left, I recon it could be the strut top mount and rubber cushion thingy.

Does anyone have a pict of and exploded diagram of the front suspension set up, I'm assuming it's similar to the the other fwd Volvo setups?

Cheers, looks easy enough. Was seeing what parts were involved in the fron suspension.

Without hearing it, I'd try swaybar links first.

For the cost of it all, it's probably worth replacing all 3 parts, just finding the strut top mount, are the the same as the focus @AshDVS.

I'm replacing lots of lower control arms (worn rear bush) and front shocks and struts tops in P3 chassis. Usually the shocks require replacement, as they end up with axial play at full extension.

It's a clear audible rattle though, not an occasional knock.

You could try removing the sway bar links first and see if that isolates the problem.

Tim is there an aftermarket solution like Hardrace or such for link bits on P3 that is worth spending money on or keep it OEM. I hear from Mark that *60 front ends can have different LCA/steering stuff as they found when trying to use a low mileage bit on customer car which wasn't same. I had hoped for that cheaper option from them,I hope mine is the same.....
