Hey all, I'm looking at buying my first car and have struggled to find one on facebook market place, carsales, gumtree etc that is within my current budget of around 2000$
I also wanted what i should be expecting to pay realistically, I'm starting to think i'm grasping at things that aren't there. I want a 240 that dosen't have any major mechanical faults and is relatively local so i can inspect with ease. Nearly bought one on Facebook market place for $1500 and buyer folded the day before, since then I've lost hope.
I'm a 1st year mechanic so I have a decent mechanical background it's really the Money being the limitation.
My intentions for the car are to have it roadworthy and insured by November 2021, I want to buy ASAP as the volvo 240 prices are creeping up.
